The Montessori classroom is a vibrant place that has a unique and challenging educational program, warm stimulating environment, and joyful students who are active, independent learners. Children learn through the exploration of self-chosen, hands-on materials. Understanding that children learn at their own pace and have a variety of interests, teachers plan lessons based on individual interest and readiness rather than chronological age.
The Montessori approach is internationally renowned for the development of each child’s creativity, individual resourcefulness and potential. Most importantly, we are preserving the joy in learning, while increasing concentration, which creates a cornerstone to your child’s educational success. Bridgewater Montessori’s teacher is highly trained with extensive background experience working with and teaching ages 3-7, a Master’s in Elementary Education through Eastern Mennonite University, and studied at Northeastern Montessori Institute.
